'Real' economy damaged by uncertainty

Business confidence in Yorkshire & Humber took a serious hit in the first quarter of 2008 falling to five year record lows. Profitability expectations fell 5% between January and March 2008 following the 11% drop in the previous quarter as concerns over the economy have risen.
